FAQ

Q.) What courses are offered?

A.) There are three courses offered; MPAL 101 (beginner), MPAL 201 (intermediate), and MPAL 301 (advanced). Customized 1-on-1 training is also available. Please contact us at info@davidlopezaudio.com for details and/or to schedule customized instruction.

Q.) When and how often are courses offered?

A.) Courses start every six weeks. There are two terms each season, i.e. Spring Term 1 and Spring Term 2. The desired term is selected upon enrollment.

Q.) How long is each course?

A.) All courses are six weeks in duration with one class per week. Each class session is 100 minutes in duration.

Q.) When are the classes scheduled each week?

A.) Adult classes are held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from either 6pm-7:40pm or 8pm-9:40pm depending on the course level selected.

Q.) Where are the classes held?

A.) All classes will take place at Onda Blue Studios located within Callonwalde Fine Arts Center:

980 Briarcliff Rd. NE

Atlanta, GA 30306

Onda Blue is a safe, professional, commercial recording and mastering studio with one control room and two studios/ live rooms.

Q.) What size are the classes?

A.) All classes have between 2 and 6 students.

Q.) Are student computers, software and headphones provided?

A.) No. Individual student computers and headphones will NOT be provided to students during class. Personal laptop computers and headphones are not absolutely required but are highly suggested while attending each class session. Compact MIDI controllers are also welcome during class.

Q.) What is the refund and cancellation policy?

A.) Our refund and cancellation policy is as follows:

I. All enrollment cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@davidlopezaudio.com.

II. All enrollment cancellation requests submitted AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO COURSE START DATE will result in, at the students’ discretion, either a full refund OR, the full course enrollment amount being credited towards a course starting at a later date.

III. All enrollment cancellation requests submitted LESS THAN TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO COURSE START DATE will result in, at the students’ discretion, either a 50% refund OR, the full course enrollment amount being credited towards a course starting at a later date.

Q.) What do I need to do to enroll?

A.) To enroll you’ll need to complete the following four steps:

I. Review the course details carefully to make sure you are selecting and enrolling in the appropriate course. You can find course objectives, learning outcomes, and what the ideal student looks like for any given course, on the course pages. Feel free to contact us at info@davidlopezaudio with any additional questions.

II. Select the appropriate Term (i.e. Spring Term 1, Summer Term 2) on the course page and click the “purchase” button.

III. Carefully read, review, complete and e-sign the Student Enrollment Agreement which includes information and policies related to:

- Course start date, duration and schedule

- Course location

- Rescheduling

- Computers and equipment

- Food and drink

- Instructor, qualifications and learning outcomes

- Educational content distribution

- Audio and/ or video recording and/ or distribution

- Safety and liability waiver

- Right of refusal and removal

- Questions and grievances

- Refunds and cancellations

- Personal information
